Apu-Napo is located in the province of Orellana on the banks of the Napo River.

We will pick you up with the APU-NAPO boat at the “Puerto Rico” pier to get you to the lodge.

How to get to the Puerto Rico pier?

By Vehicle: 

From Quito: It is located 5 hours from the capital city by car (250 km). This route is beautiful because you descend from the highlands to the lowlands and admire the change of geography. On the way, you can visit several attractions. You can have a bath in the HOT SPRINGS at PAPALLACTA and see a couple of places full of hummingbirds. You can also admire and take a bath in one of the most impressive waterfalls, the Hollín waterfall.

By Airplane:

It takes a short flight from Quito to Coca City (40 min). From Coca Airport to the Puerto Rico pier takes an hour and a half (65 km) by car. On the way, you can visit the Isphingo Packcha River and its waterfalls.

APU-NAPO can take care of all these means of transportation for an additional fee.

In all cases, you must confirm your arrival to make sure we will pick you from the Puerto Rico pier. The price of the tour includes your pickup from the Puerto Rico pier to APU-NAPO.
